If you feel that you can contribute in providing care and support as a LIVE-IN CAREGIVER then we want to hear from you.
Please note that minimum requirements for consideration include:
- Successful completion of a Canadian equivalent of High School (12 years)
and
- Certificate of Completion in an accredited and verifiable Live-in Caregiving Course (min. 6 months)
or
- Equivalent or higher medical program accreditation or Degree or studies in verifiable early childhood education, geriatric care, pedriatic nursing or first aid course(s)
or
- Valid and verifiable Employment Record of 12 months (min. 6 months for same employer) as a Live-in Caregiver in the past three years
and
- Criminal Record Clearance, (Police Clearance)
and
- You must be able to speak, read and understand either English or French on your own in your employer's home
Additional requirements may be required at Client's and SVHCS discretion.
